The recent bombing of the Wisconsin Planned Parenthood is alarming, outrageous and indicative about the literal war that is being waged on women and their future and lives. Yes, wake-up! This an actual war that is aimed at forcefully enslaving women. And no, they don’t care if you use birth control for health reasons so stop making that the only argument as it demonizes women who use birth control simply for the rational reason that they don’t want to be pregnant! Women who have sex are not sluts.
Many of us have watched in horror as anti-women legislation sweeps the United States. Younger women have grown up with idea that abortion is a necessary procedure that should be legal but “rare.” They have been taught by many pro-choice organizations to not talk about abortion and instead talk about choice. We were taught to by the Democratic Party to “reason” with the Christian fundamentalist outlook by saying that we are not pro-abortion, we are pro-choice and to only give examples of incest and rape as the main moral reason why women should have access to abortion. We found ourselves arguing with a Christian Fundamentalist movement and forced to concede the moral high ground to a movement that doesn’t care about women’s lives. The fact is that a woman deciding that she does not want to pregnant for whatever reason she chooses is reason enough for her to get an abortion. Fetuses are not babies, abortion is not murder and women are not incubators. Lets get out in the streets, defend these clinics, our providers and mobilize the thousands who care about women to be a visible counter that is so massive that the anti-choice movement loses all of its legitimacy.
Some of that outrage should be directed at the commie, nazi, fascist, impearalist, manipulating, devisive Fox propergandist agency of the devil.
No matter how hard I try to do otherwise, I still end up paying them a compliment.
