San Francisco Bay Area War Criminal Protests
Condoleeza Rice to appear at Stanford University Friday, May 6 as the keynote speaker on the "rule of law in China." SF Bay Area World Can’t Wait writes:
"Decades of bombing, invasion, occupation and torture — we interrupt this program. The U.S. government and its academic lackeys are in NO position to profess professional expertise OR moral authority on matters of international law.
It is our responsibility, as people of conscience, to repudiate messengers of endless war and torture."
Join the protest!
Friday May 6, 3:00 PM – 4:00 PM
Stanford Law School, Room 290

2011 Berkeley Law School Graduation: Protest UC Complicity and War Crimes
Friday 9 AM, May 13
Since 2008, UC Berkeley Law (Boalt Hall) commencement ceremonies have drawn anti-torture protest actions. World Can’t Wait, human rights and civil liberties groups working against torture, and others have called on graduates, faculty, and the community at large to protest John Yoo and torture.
John Yoo did his most notorious damage as deputy assistant attorney general for the Bush Regime’s Office of Legal Counsel, where his legal opinions justified torture. Please JOIN US for a public demonstration calling for this Professor of Torture to be fired, disbarred, and prosecuted for his criminal lawyering. We will have orange jump suits in tableau, lots of orange ribbons, and excellent signs. Details/flier.
