Come to Denver August 23-28 when the
Democrats Meet

Be there to make your sentiments loud and visible:

SIGN the Open Letter to the Anti-War Movement

SIGN UP to join World Can’t Wait in Denver

If you think no government should be allowed to do what the
Bush
regime has done the past 7 years, come to Denver and join others
building a movement to that end.

If you are sickened by your government waging an endless,
illegitimate, immoral war and occupation in Iraq, with ominous and
immediate threats on Iran, and  you demand U.S. aggression in the
Middle East stop now, come to Denver and say it loudly!

If you are outraged that the war crime of torture is being committed  by your government in your
name with the Democratic leadership’s involvement, come to Denver to say “We Won’t Live in a Torture State!”

If you don’t buy the justification of your government spying on
private calls and mail, no matter which party makes it, come to Denver
to repudiate the new FISA law.

If you”re tired of politics as usual selling “change” while Obama
refines the Bush program from “faith-based” initiatives to 80,000
troops “stabilizing” Iraq, and refuse to settle for less and less, come
to Denver make a moral and political declaration.

If you know that only you – not your government – can bring this whole fascist direction to a halt, join with all of us in Denver to fight for a different future.

World Can’t Wait, other organizations, and thousands of Denver
activists will march against the war & torture, attacks on
immigrants & women’s rights; gather in parks with permits, drop
banners, and meet the world press with the our
demand to bring the Bush program to a halt, no matter who is president!

how wonderful it would be if our leaders would get it that we are all connected in the web of life. what we have done to the people of iraq haunts us now and will for generations to come. all for oil, money, and power. what a totally f.u.b.a.r. horrible thing for our country to have done.

I’m worried that Obama is much more like Bush/Cheney than he is like FDR. Thank God, we can still nominate Sen. Hillary Clinton.

Because the electorate is gullible, politicians have to take positions that they will immediately discard after being elected. It is not what they say to get elected that is going to have lasting effect on our lives and that of the generations that follow. What they do after they are elected is what counts. If you want someone who is going to do whatever the military/industrial complex wants him to do, there is Senator McCain. If you want someone who will respond to the will of the People insofar as the Congress will allow, vote for Senator Obama.

The neocons and those who have bought into their ideology be they Republicans or Democrats have privatized and militarized our country ignoring the rule of law, the Constitution, and the welfare of the People while doing so. These our the real enemies, our modern day Fifth Column. They are cancers within the body politic.

Have you been wondering why the democrats have been so impotent against Bush Cheney and the corporate war machine. The democratic hierarchy is riddled with hegemonic neocons just like the republicans. They are not cowards, they simply embrace the same ideals of American world domination through unilateral military intervention as the Bushees and Cheneys do. The wishes of the American citizenry has little influence in agenda. Only when and if public opinion is convenient!

The Corporations through the Republican and Democratic Parties are systematically destroying the the United States by bleeding dry financially and sending it into bankruptcy. This war continues just to funnel taxpayers dollars into the pockets of corporate CEO’s, Directors and Prefered Stockholders. Only you can make a third party successful by not voting Democratic OR Republican. They are not your only alternatives, only if you believe them.

The military-industrial-mainstream media complex holds all the levers of power. We can protest till Hell freezes over and never change this reality.

We live in a plutocracy, which masquerades as a democracy. Our fake democracy is very effective in keeping the citizenry distracted from seeing the truth.

Both the Democratic and Republican parties are wholly-owned subsidiaries of Big Money.

We must protest simply because of the moral imperative that we do so, knowing that the chance that we will ever have any success is infinitesmally small.

This is BAD!! We might as well admit that this is no longer a free country. They put up fences so they can “arrest” you without the bother of pretending you’re doing something illegal. National security, hell! Shutting out the voice of the citizenry is what it’s all about.

I sincerely wish for a departure from the normal politesse in addressing the resident-in-chief IdiotBush. What I want is for Ron to say to IdiotBush that “you don’t know shit about war, so shut up and sit down craven coward and let me tell you about war.” You suppose that could happen? Isn’t the time for politeness long past? What does it take for us to finally speak a little truth instead of polite bullshit all the time? Has polite discourse got us anywhere?

We are supposedly a nation of laws…but these idiots are changing the laws to suit their own purposes. This is finally the United States of Amerika!

I felt safer, more secure, and freer to speak when I was recently in Moscow. They don’t set up “free speech” zones to cage their own citizens.

I also feel safer and more able to speak here In canada where I am at the moment.

I will be returning to the ‘States in time for the Denver Convention.

We have now officially become the United States of Amerika. I felt a lot more comfortable and secure when I was recently in Moscow. They didn’t have “free speech” zones.

They don’t have them in Canada, either, wehre I am at the moment. I’ll be back home in two weeks, in time for the convention protests.

REVOLUTION is the only way to change this. We as a nation have been sold out. We must hold those officials accountable. Start over with our constitution in place, never to be strayed from again.

How can we come to Denver to protest being caged? We are too busy being laid off and forclosed and evicted and dying for lack of medical care. So goes it in our capitalist-mock-democracy.

One family of man on one mother earth means sharing and caring and loving each other and our mother earth; it means being creatively expressive and it means reaffirming our rights; it means living free with compassion for others and for all of life; It means being able to gather, march, protest, and speak freely about what we care about. Peace and brotherhood for all.

Impeach Bush & Cheney. Get out of Iraq and use our military to secure our own borders and rebuild America. I am truly disappointed with America’s leaders and politicians – we are really scraping the bottom of the barrel, all so the large corporations and super wealthy can amass even more wealth – how much is enough?
