“If you are against what’s going on and you don’t show it, it doesn’t count. If you don’t act when it counts, it doesn’t matter.” – Sunsara Taylor
The international Longshore and Warehouse Union (ILWU) has called for
a united labor action on May 1, 2008, International Workers Day, to
demand an end to the war. The international longshoremen are often responsible
for unloading military weapons of the strykers that come into the ports.
Their stand is an important one that must be upheld and spread all over
the country.
In solidarity World Can’t Wait, Drive Out The Bush Regime is calling
out all who have a collective sense of outrage against the crimes of
the Bush Regime to come into the streets. If you hate the fact that
your government is torturing people, spying on people, and killing millions
of innocent people, your time has come to act. Declare that you are against torture,
war, oppression
and will wear orange daily to drive out the regime and it’s agenda,
wearing orange daily, along with other forms of resistance, can lead
to driving out the Bush Regime. (Get as
much material as possible… get it for friends, family, neighbors,
co-workers… start spreading them. )
