I am retired and disabled from a back condition but I am also an artist/photographer. I donate when I can, but I also have sculptures and photographs which could be sold or auctioned and that could be my donation. If somebody could organize it I would be happy to donate artwork. Please consider it. We owe a huge amount of money here thanks to our education system, the only one in the civilized world where we charge our own children for their education, and I am on fixed income, but I want to help somehow. If we the people can’t “fix’ this broken democracy of ours there is little hope. The pattern is historical when an empire implodes civil rights go out the door and dictators rule, like now. Will Europe take us in as political refugees? I hope they won’t have to, but if Obama continues to keep Bush’s illegal wars going and maintains the illegal and extra-Constitutional powers given him by Congress we will have no choice. I’m not too old to march but I can’t fight a new revolution.

Does nobody remember Jacobo Timermann \”Prisoner Without a Name, Cell Without a Number\”, or \”The Gulag Archipelago\” by Solzhenytzin — nobody of any party disagreed that sleep deprivation was torture then, during the \”Cold War\” period especially the far right. J.S.L.v
