January 4, 2007: As the new Democratic Congress opened in Washington DC, banners appeared on San Francisco highway overpasses calling for Bush’s impeachment. As Nancy “impeachment is off the table” Pelosi was being sworn in as the new Speaker of the House, protesters outside of her San Francisco office demanded Bush’s impeachment. 59% of voters in Pelosi’s district voted for a proposition to impeach Bush & Cheney.
