We had about 150 people at the rally today. Amongst speakers was a VietNam vet said he was sent to “fight for our freedom”. He then asked the crowd what freedoms they have as a result of the Viet Nam War??? The Raging Grannies sang, students from several local high schools joined in. One told us that his teachers had each received an email from the Dept. of Homeland Sec. telling them about the demo. He will forward me a copy of the memo that I will send to you. I printed over 100 copies of the CALL off the internet and handed them out. The group was advised to watch the World Can’t Wait web site to find out about the next action to build on Oct. 5.
