Our day began at 10am. We put signs together, listened to some folks
speak, talked to each other since many people were new to protesting.
We had a large turnout from all age groups and walks of life. From
highschool kids to grandparents. We had all the local media there in
the morning, they were filming and interviewing the small group. During
the day we reached around 30 people. By the time our march started at
4:30 we were up to around 70 people.
When we reached our rally point, the Superior Court, we were roughly
75-100 strong. We had many people honking their support as our speakers
were addressing the crowd. Amoung our speakers was a female Vietnam
Vet. I think she got the biggest ovation, her voice choking with
emotion at the end of her time at the microphone. It ended peacefully
around 7:30pm.
