The protest at the State Capitol Building Campus in Olympia was a complete success! Not even an accident or an injury! It was a sunny beautiful day. We started setting up the stage at 7am. We had 500 to 600 people attend throughout the day. Our 3:00 pm march – 300 people marched into downtown Olympia and back to the Capitol. We gave away 525 orange poncho’s and the march was quite colorful!
“Wickline Family and Friends” performed their “WAKE UP AMERICA”
concert and Bob Wickline helped out on stage all day! It was a very
spirited event and it lasted until 4am when the last four of us decided
to end it. I came back at 7am to finalize cleanup and talk to the few
people who showed up in the morning. It was a really peaceful family
event and it was sure a lot of fun marching down Capitol Way in Olympia
chanting and shouting; “The World Can’t Wait – Drive Out The Bush
Regime” and ” Bush OUT NOW.”
