Around 10 people gathered in Mobile, Alabama, as part of the October 5 protests to drive out the Bush regime. The call to drive out the Bush regime was read along with other very impassioned speeches.
The mostly college-aged students and a few adults
talked to other passerby about the need to resist and stop this regime,
and a couple people walking by joined in.
Most people
participating had only heard about World Can’t Wait in the last week,
and plan to meet to organize future events. As one person at the
protest put it,
It was a success, even if limited numbers of people showed, due to the support of thousands of other people around the US.
