Syracuse turns out en masse for World Can’t Wait rally! OK, well, not exactly en masse, but about 25 people enlivened the intersection at Almond and Adams , taking advantage of the lunchtime traffic to bring their message of “Drive Out the Bush Regime” to the streets. The response from the passing cars was definitely in support of the demonstrators, as people beeped their horns, waved, and flashed peace Vees and fists out the window. These two women just didn’t want to get off the streets, even after everyone else went home! —Angela Locke
