The Oakland Education Association recently passed a resolution in support of protests planned for October 5th. This important stand needs to replicated in dozens and dozens of other school boards around the country. Utilize the language in this resolution to submit proposals for your school.
RESOLUTION ON OCTOBER 5TH WORLD CANT WAIT/ DRIVE OUT THE BUSH REGIME NATIONAL DAY OF MASS RESISTANCE

The Oakland Education Association supports the right of students and staff to
participate in activities surrounding October 5th, a national day of mass resistance against the Bush regime called by WORLD CANT WAIT/DRIVE OUT THE BUSH REGIME, and further supports the policy of no reprisals against students, teachers and others in the school community who participate in protest activities that day.
