DEMAND THAT ALL CHARGES BE DROPPED ON

The Katrina 2—-The Torture
Theater 1—-The Bloody Monday 2

‘That which you do not resist and stop, you
will learn, or be forced, to accept’

-from the Call The World
Can’t Wait-Drive Out the Bush Regime!

Monday morning, March 6th  five leaders in the movement, “The World
Can’t Wait-Drive Out the Bush Regime!’ will be in court facing charges stemming
from various activities to build an independent movement of the people to Drive
Out the Bush Regime.

     The “Katrina Two,” Scott
Loudermilk and Conor Gallagher, were arrested on Sunday, September 4th  during the
first major outpouring of anger at and opposition to the horrific
situation the people of New Orleans were living through. People in New Orleans
stranded on roof tops for days, not being rescued, facing a police force that
had orders to shoot to kill. People living in stadiums and coliseums without
their basic needs being met. The Katrina protest, led by musicians on Sunday,
September 4th, called for “RESCUE NOT REPRESSION!”  With over 3000 people still missing, and 1300
killed from Katrina, we know that the people of New
Orleans needed rescue, not repression.

     Recent revelations in the government
hearings around Katrina, and scenes this week during Mardi Gras, show whole
neighborhoods looking not one bit different than 6 months ago. This validates
how important and righteous this first mass expression of opposition was. The
government has admitted they knew that the levees would break, did nothing, and
no one has yet to be held accountable for this. Yet these two activists were
singled out and arrested and held overnight in jail. They are facing
misdemeanor charges, possibly up to one year in jail.

     The Torture Theater 1–Kristopher “Joey”
Waller, the World Can’t Wait youth organizer, is going on trial at the same
court house, also on Monday morning. Joey went out to students on campuses
around New York enacting a
‘torture theatre,’ wearing a black hood and orange jumpsuit, challenging   people to step forward and stop what is
unacceptable-the torture we have all seen at Guantanamo
and Abu Ghraib. He was arrested at Hunter
College while enacting this torture
theater on a campus in the very country that claims to be free.

He was beaten, and brutally arrested, and
is charged with trespassing, loitering and resisting arrest.  He faces up to a year and three months in
prison for dramatically challenging students to face what the Bush regime is
doing “in their name,” and to stop it.

     The “Bloody Monday 2,” Mark
Tinkleman and Hunter McCord, were arrested for protesting the confirmation of
Alito. Of  particular outrage to many is
the impeding demise of women’s right to control their own body. These two
youth, and Joey, are members of the Revolutionary Communist Youth Brigade,
(RCYB), and they were detained to signal to others that dissent and resistance
to the draconian program of the Bush regime will not be tolerated.

The Katrina 2(the Torture Theater 1—the
Bloody Monday 2— must be defended and supported by all  who know in their mind and feel in their
heart  that the Bush regime must be
driven out!  Come to Court on
8:30 AM, Monday, March 6th

100 Centre Street.
