What does your government do when its illegal spying program is exposed: Make it legal!
The upcoming inquiry into the NSA spy program by the House
Intelligence Committee is turning its focus into how laws need to be
changed in order to accommodate to the secret warrantless spying.
Instead of launching a full investigation into this fascistic program
and indicting the Bush regime for its blatantly illegal actions,
Congress and the White House are working out an agreement over how to
continue the spy program. Republican Senator Mike DeWine is working out
an agreement where small Congressional committees would oversee the
program.
While there have been some squabbles inside the halls of power over
this scandal, now with this criminal regime is hammering through their
fascistic spying with the consent (forced or willing) of
Congress. If there is going to be real opposition to this and
Bush’s whole program, it must come from millions of people taking
independent political action, rather than relying on some procedure in
Congress or savior from the Democrats. You can start by taking part in
