We live in a small town in Vermont populated by about 1500 and decided to hold our event in the next big town, Lyndonville, populated by about 6000. We were unsure of how many, if any, would show up due to the fear that people express of exposing their beliefs in a small town. But we had 63 show up! Ages ranged from about 5 to 70. It was a great gathering with lots of energy. We had about dozen cars drive by and honk in support. We even had two television stations plus one radio station show up to cover the event. In the end, everyone expressed their appreciation to us for organizing such an event and asked when we would be doing it again. We all agreed it was a great beginning for our small, isolated communities.
