THE WORLD CAN’T WAIT
ARE YOU PART OF THIS GROWING MOVEMENT IN AMERICA FOR A NEW
DIRECTION?
You may be, and not
yet know it.
If you are shocked and
angered that this administration is illegally spying on Americans, and believe
that even our president must be held accountable to the law, you
may be part of this movement.
If you disagree with our Justice
Department’s assertion that ‘The President has inherent constitutional
authority to conduct warrantless searches and surveillance within the United
States for foreign intelligence purposes,’ you may be part of this movement.
If you believe we entered
into a costly and illegal war in Iraq as a result of manipulated intelligence
and false assertions about the threat we faced, you may be part of this
movement.
If you believe establishing
a network of secret prisons around the world where we hold unknown people
indefinitely without charges is a shameful and degrading policy, you
may be part of this movement.
If you believe justifying
the use of torture is un-American and has no place in our interrogation
policies, you may be part of this movement.
If you believe huge annual
deficits and a growing national debt are undermining our future, making America
vulnerable to outside influences, and placing an impossible burden on future
generations, you may be part of this movement.
If you believe honest
elections conducted using auditable systems are needed to achieve renewed trust
in the legitimacy of our elected leaders, you may be a part of this movement.
If you are concerned that
our country is being guided in a dangerously autocratic way by those who want
to control every aspect of our cultural and political life, you
may be part of this movement.
This administration seeks
to consolidate all power into what they are calling the âunitary executive’, a
form of unaccountable rule that our founding fathers fought to free ourselves
from by establishing our Constitution and Bill of Rights. If you object to giving up the checks and
balances to total power for the false promise of better security, then you
may be a part of this movement.
In addition, in so many
areas of our concern, polls tell us that this administration is acting counter
to what most Americans want our government to be dealing with to meet our real
needs. This administration is actually obstructing many of the creative efforts
being made by many individuals and organizations to address our real and
pressing problems. Our environment is
degrading daily, yet this regime’s policies only speed up the process of
destroying our very life support system.
Cheap oil is rapidly running out, and a catastrophe awaits our society
if new energy sources aren’t developed quickly.
These crises must be addressed soon if we are to survive. We must have better leadership in so many
areas. If you think we must focus the energy and resources of our nation into
finding solutions to these and other real problems, then you may be part of this movement.
Only about one-third of Americans
believe this administration is leading our country in the right direction. If you are not one of that minority, then you
may be a part of this movement.
Are you a part of this important movement?
If you know that you are,
then please go now to worldcantwait.org and join in now
with the many thousands who have read and endorsed the Call of The World Can’t
Wait Movement to drive out the Bush regime. Read the reports of the many
thousands across America who came to the streets on Nov 2nd, 2005, to announce THE BEGINNING OF THE END OF THE BUSH REGIME. Consider the comments of those who recognize
how serious this situation is that we all face.
Offer financial support to get this message out to the millions looking
for a way to participate in building a better future. Look for those near you
who are organizing peaceful protest to stop this damaging regime and its
terrible policies. If none are already organizing where you live, form your own
chapter and begin to get out the invitation to all those around you to join in
now. The situation is urgent, and we
cannot wait for more damage to be done.
On January 31st, 2006,
George W. Bush will deliver his State of the Union message, and once again we
will hear more plans to take our country further in the direction of material
and moral ruin. On that date, people all
across America, people who are part of this movement for a better future,
people like you and me, will stand together and announce to George Bush and his
whole gang that it is time for them to go.
Then, as he delivers his speech, we will bring on the noise, bells and
horns, banging of pots and pans, and voices raised in angry protest, and
symbolically and literally we will drown this message out all across our
country. Then, on Feb 4th, many
thousands of us will march around the White House to deliver the people’s
verdict, that we now face a State of Emergency in America,
and it is time for BUSH, STEP DOWN, AND TAKE YOUR PROGRAM WITH YOU.
The World Can’t Wait
Movement is calling on every American who yearns for a change in our priorities
to join together to proclaim our demand for a new direction for our country,
and for new leadership to guide us. We
must now let this regime know that we will not accept this tyrannical rule any
longer. Join with your friends and neighbors, and come together onto the
streets and town squares and parks across America, and let them know that we
all agree that this regime must go now.
Together, in our determined millions, WE
ARE THIS MOVEMENT !!
