The World Can’t Wait – Drive Out
the Bush Regime has arrived in Washington DC
with the opening of the satellite of our New York
based National Office! Volunteers from around the country have been working
hard to make this office a nerve center to organize national media, defects
from the government, national and local progressive organizations, and citizens
of the Washington DC community. This
office is an important advance in the already growing movement to drive out the
Bush regime. This office will function
as a powerful national media and organizing center to mobilize the DC area
community to bring the noise – and drown out Bush’s lies during the State of
the Union. This
office will join the tens of thousands from around the country who will gather
in Washington DC
to bring the demand, Bush Step Down, to the White House. Our office in DC will remain a key part in
the movement to drive out the Bush regime long after the out of town volunteers
have left. We have signed a one year
lease at 511 C St. NE across from Stanton
Park on Capitol Hill. We are not leaving until the Bush regime is
driven out!
