Today’s reasons to drive out the Bush regime:
At a conference on climate control in Montreal, the Bush regime has
refused to even partake in informal talks on cutting emissions linked
to global warming, let alone setting targets for doing so. Canada’s
prime minister even singled out the US, saying “There is such a thing
as a global conscience, and now is the time to listen to it.” The Bush
regime has continued to refuse to sign the Kyoto Protocol, which is
aimed at cutting greenhouse gas emissions. All this comes at a time
scientists (whom Bush won’t listen to) continued warning global warming
and environmental destruction present grave threats to the planet and
its people. The utter arrogance with which the US delegation upheld its
position adds further to this outrage. We cannot allow a regime that
cares nothing for the planet or its people to continue ruling the most
powerful country. Too much is at stake.
The World Can’t Wait! Drive Out the Bush Regime!
In recent debate, John Yoo, author of the notorious Bush regime’s torture memo,
argues that it must be part of American law that the president has the right to
order the crushing of the testicles of children of suspected terrorists.

Yoo’s class at UC-Berkeley’s law school was recently disrupted by
students and activists with The World Can’t Wait – Drive Out the Bush
Regime!, confronting him with people dressed in torture victims. Since
then, there have been protests organized at his public appearances.
People continue confronting Yoo where ever he goes – we cannot allow
today’s Heinrich Himmler’s to spout their justifications for atrocities
unchallenged by a movement aiming to drive this criminal regime from
power.
