12-07: I am a survivor of Hurricane Katrina and
I am trying to live through this. I was lucky only roof and some water
and a few other damages, but all in all I am home. I had a mandatory
evacuation and drove to Dallas Texas.
We found out that even without electricity we could come back, but to bring
generators and as much gas as we could get. So we pulled out the credit
card and purchased two generators and 500 dollars of gasoline from Dallas,
straight into a nightmare. We have not received a penny from FEMA and
only 1 months food stamps to feed 8 people with the help of MRE’s we made
it. I love my country and my state, we are not all thieves and most are
law abiding citizens that love our state and our unique culture. So
called President Bush was not there for us at all and I want to know how long
is it going to take for more people to die from terrorist attacks or
earthquakes etc. before they wake up and realize if it can happen to us, it
can, and will happen to you.
Let me know where there is a chapter to impeach this
tryant before more people and soldiers have to die for his personal vindictive
reasons. I live in Destrehan La.
and I want to know where there is a chapter or how to we start a chapter here,
because New Orleans has had enough
of Bush, FEMA, Cheney and his buddies Haliburton making a fortune on our
natural disaster of our wonderful state and homeland.
