It was not us who gave the green light to Blackwater mercenary killers and F-16 pilots dropping bombs on Afghan wedding parties from 35,000 feet.
We never gave our approval to wrap Iraqi villages in barbed wire, cut
off their water supply, shoot at their ambulances, raid their
hospitals, knock down their doors, and murder women and children. But
that is what is happening… and it is up to us to bring it to a halt.
The polar ice caps are melting, immigrants are being rounded up and
deported as they seek safety from the fires raging in Southern
California, Christian fundamentalists are taking over the military,
George Bush is threatening World War 3 against Iran, and the Democrats
are complicit. The future of the planet has never been more precarious.
We did not create all this, but this is the world our generation has inherited. The question is, what will we do about it?
Let us face the challenge in front of us. The Bush Regime is not over.
In fact, they are speeding up as they get closer to the finish line”
