We hardly have time to recount the horrors occurring daily and the brave responses to them. However, we need to mobilize and activate even further our nonviolent opposition in order to bring these outrages to a halt.
We Are Not Your Soldiers – More than ever, needed in 2026
As we move into the spring semester, we look forward to having the opportunity of working with educators and their classes. Our panel of anti-war veterans shares their experiences in the military — from the Vietnam era through to just a couple of years ago — with students in an open dialogue where they are open to answering any questions and engaging in discussions that encourage critical thinking, providing an opportunity for those students to hear a perspective they don’t hear from recruiters and to acquire information that enables informed decision-making.
In this time of so much frightening repression, young people have more concerns and questions than ever. They need a supportive space in which to have these conversations.
We can make our visits in person or, when the location is not possible for any of our speakers, successfully via remote technology. We plan with you to make curricular connections.
Check out the speakers for Spring 2026: John Burns, Ross Caputi, Joy Damiani, Rosa del Duca, Will Griffin, Chris “Henri” Henrikson, Miles Megaciph, Lyle Rubin, Brian Teucke, Shaniyat Turani-Chowdhury, Joe Urgo and Miguel Gabriel Vazquez.
