A note from Stephanie Rugoff:
This past Sunday November 26, at the end of the long Thanksgiving weekend, I was one of 1500 people brought together at the entrance/exit of the beautiful architecture of the Manhattan Bridge by Jewish Voice for Peace. I was joined by my husband, my son and many friends. Based on the belief that everyone deserves to live with dignity and freedom, our call rang out for a permanent ceasefire!
You can see many of us here – we were also in the roadways on both sides of this spectacular middle section – mostly Jewish people but most definitely not only, and people of all ages from infants in strollers and carriers to advanced senior citizens. We remained through the rain and into the dark.
