“Your government is moving to deny women here, and all over the world, the right to birth control and abortion.”
On Alito’s first day on the bench, the Supreme Court will be
reviewing a law banning late-term abortion that three federal courts
have ruled unconstitutional. Coincidence? Probably not.
The so-called Partial Birth Abortion Act, enthusiastically signed by
Bush in 2003, makes no exception for health emergencies, has such vague
language that it could be used to ban all abortions after the first
trimester, and is deliberately worded to distort what the actual
medical procedure is. Despite the ruling of not one but three federal
courts against the law, the Supreme Court, with newly appointed Roberts
and Alito, is now reviewing this law.
What does Roberts think about abortion? “We continue to believe that Roe was wrongly decided and should be overruled.”
What about Alito, who refused to say what his views
on the legality of abortion during his confirmation hearings? “The
Constitution does not protect a right to an
abortion.”
That which you will not resist and mobilize to stop, you will learn (
or be forced ( to accept.
The World Can’t Wait! Drive Out the Bush Regime!
