“Your government, on the basis of outrageous
lies, is waging a murderous and utterly illegitimate war in Iraq, with
other countries in their sights.”
The Pentagon just released its new strategy for the “war on
terrorism”, making clear their intent for an endless war with more
military operations in more countries. The strategy gives a sweeping
picture of imperial ambitions to “intervene” around the world with
covert military operations, intelligence gathering, and political
battles.
This comes in the midst of new “justifications” for possible war on
Iran and threatening remarks towards Venzuela’s elected government. The
Bush regime has already caused enough suffering in Iraq, and must be
stopped from “staying its course” there and continuing on its murderous
path elsewhere.
