Check out a few of the emails we have received from around the
world, and a call for people around the world to join this movement:
“Hallo from Europe. What do you recommend we do over here to
support your work?
“Hi,
I’m French, living in Paris and I was here Nov. 2nd, in
Union square, NYC to support you and do the march with you! I just want to say
that I was proud to see all of these people in Union Square and in all the USA,
realize and standing up against Bush regime! “Join us, join us, world
can’t wait! Drive out the Bush regime!” You’re right, world can’t wait,
Europe and especially France is watching and waiting for you! If you need any
support in France or in Europe, i’m your man! Do not hesitate. You got my
sincere consideration.”
Hello. Thank you for emailing World Can’t Wait.
We have received many inspiring emails from around the world
not only lending their thanks and support for initiating this movement, but
also asking how they too can be a part of the movement to drive out the Bush
regime. A regime that commits crimes of this magnitude must be met with mass
political action and repudiation all around the world.
Think about what it would mean if every move Bush makes in
the United States is met with the resounding, ‘Bush step down, and take your program
with you!’ Now think further about what it would mean if Bush was met in every country
he visited with the same message. Look
at what happened when Bush visited Argentina to approach the Summit of the
Americas about the FTAA. The people of
Argentina mobilized quickly to greet Bush with mass repudiation. The newspaper headlines were not covered
with reports of the Summit meeting, but with headlines reading ‘Thousands
protest Bush in Argentina.’
When Bush comes to your country, he must be met with
mobilized resistance and demands that ‘Bush step down, and take your whole
program with you’ and ‘The world can’t wait! Drive out the Bush regime!’ The
next day of massive action will be when Bush delivers the State of the Union
Address where Bush will lay out his plan for continuing forward with his
Christian fascist agenda that will affect the entire world. On this day people in the U.S. and around
the world will drown out the plan that Bush puts forward with our plan that
‘Bush step down, and take your program with you!’ When this happens, where will
we be? If people here and around the world are united around driving out the
Bush regime, then we can actually start having world wide discussions about
what will replace Bush. Mobilize people
all over your country to drown out Bush politically during the State of the
Union by gathering at US embassies.
This movement needs to grow in leaps over the coming months
in order to drown Bush out politically.
We will need hundreds more organizers and thousands more actively taking
part in this movement. The ads on Air America played a major role to the
success on November 2nd. Phone calls
and emails poured into the National Office after these ads aired. More ads on television and radio stations
could well be the vehicle that will bring this movement to even more
people. One of the biggest
contributions that anyone can make is by donating $100 and getting ten friends
to do the same. Think about how much
you and those you know would give to stop the torture in Abu Ghraib or to
assure this regime no longer has control over who has access to condoms while
an AIDS epidemic affects millions in Africa. Think about how much you would
give for evolution and safe sex education to be taught in schools around the
world. How much would you give to drive
out the Bush regime?
‘The future is unwritten.
Which one we get is up to us!’
