All these years that men have been locked away at the U.S. torture prison at Guantanamo, the myth was that it would get closed down. Until the fascist-in-chief came along and said he wanted to fill it up again. He didn’t have the backing to do that in his first term, but the massive plan to deport 12 million immigrants, de-naturalize more, with the explicit threat of removing U.S. citizens for “criminal” offenses, has changed the whole situation.
