It’s almost unbearable to witness the suffering of the Palestinians in Gaza. And now we anticipate Israel spreading its military invasion further into Rafah, the city in southern Gaza where Palestinians had been told by the Israel Defense Forces to take refuge to avoid being killed. Here in the United States many people may not know there that are huge protests across the globe against Israel’s occupation and in support of Palestinian right to exist as a people.
Last week, Biden came to NYC to raise campaign funds causing a lock-down uptown. Jewish Voice for Peace blocked 5th Avenue in front of the Metropolitan Museum calling on Biden to “End Israel’s Siege in Gaza!” and “Stop Funding Genocide of Palestinians!” Stephanie (upper right of photo), who has not missed one of their actions, was on the front lines, along with other friends of World Cant Wait.
