Security Svcs suspended a Nyala theatre play about the revolution that overthrew al-Bashir. Interactive Theater Group of Bishish Cultural Center planned presentation of In the Days of Fear within Nyala Theater Festival. A security force summoned the dir. and asked him to moderate the contents, banned the play when refused. GIS personnel discussed content with organizers because they deal with new realities after the political changes. Security Svcs cut off electricity from the festival. Interactive Theater Group organizes activities aiming to raise awareness about peace and democratic issues through theatre in various regions. Sudan Tribune

90th protester killed: Mohammed Abdellatif, 28, was killed with a shotgun at close range in the chest, abdomen and neck by joint security forces in Wad Madani during yesterday’s marches. Socialist Doctors Assoc: Number of injuries 43, 8 bullet wounds. Central Comm of Sudanese Doctors: Coup authorities still using deadly violence against peaceful revolutionaries, and protesters are still adhering to peaceful tactics which have proven their strength against bullets and the security arsenal. Joint security forces heavily used shotguns Feb-March, and a number of revolutionaries were killed whilst hundreds sustained injuries. The surgery of shotgun wounds is complicated by the difficulty of removing scattered shrapnel that can settle next to vital organs. A shotgun designed to shoot a shotshell discharges numerous small sub-projectiles like shrapnel. 101 cases of shotgun wound infection including a serious injury that led to loss of an eye in Wad Madani. The Committee report, issued yesterday, The New Killer…recorded 4 deaths and 327 cases of gunshot wounds from this firearm since Oct. Khartoum, Bahri and Omdurman witnessed brutal repression during their march towards the palace and streets heading to parliament buildings. Omdurman processions managed under the sound of stun grenades and tear gas to reach parliament. Marches called by Resistance Committees took place in Wad Madani, Pt Sudan, Nyala, Atbara, Singa, El Geneina and El Gedaref. Everywhere protesters demanded full civilian rule and return of the military to barracks. El Gedaref demonstrations moved past the murals for the martyrs next to the morgue and met on Marches of the Millions Revolution St, city center with chants denouncing the coup demanding full civil rule.

5 wounded when RSF shot at protesters in Red Sea State protesting arrival of a gold mining company on disputed land. Haya Resistance Comm: People closed Pt Sudan-Atbara road, refusing the presence & activities of RSF companies…these companies are plundering resources & terrorizing citizens, & the land occupied by the company is subject to a tribal dispute that has not been resolved. The company imposed its presence by force with the help of RSF, a violation of all state & local procedures …occupied the land, refused to deal with any state or local authorities or consult the local community. Most gold mining companies in eastern Sudan do not deal with authorities towards the local community, and environmental damages resulting…mining companies are taking advantage of the lack of good coordination.
