Week of Action: Stop FBI and Grand Jury Repression

From the Committee to Stop FBI Repression:Stop FBI Repression

Three activists from the Twin Cities, Tracy Molm, Sarah Martin and Anh Pham are being called back before the Grand Jury in Chicago, and we need to build a movement to defend these activists and the others who have been targeted by the FBI.

Three active Twin Cities anti-war and international solidarity activists, Tracy Molm, Anh Pham, and Sarah Martin have received word from the U.S. Attorney’s Office that that they will be called to appear in front of a Chicago Grand Jury.

This is a continuation of a campaign of federal intimidation of anti-war, labor and international solidarity activists that started on September 24 with raids on homes and offices in Minneapolis and Chicago and FBI visits to activists in other cities.

“Saying these three activists should appear in front of a Grand Jury represents a dangerous escalation of the government interference and repression against the anti-war movement. This is a scare tactic to dampen the right to speak out against U.S. wars and interventions around the world,” said Jess Sundin of the Anti -War Committee.

“The FBI campaign against anti-war activists is a major threat to anyone who questions U.S. policies around the world. Many of those who had been targeted in these raids are long-time peace, labor and social justice activists,” said Mick Kelly of the Committee Against FBI Repression.

Through WikiLeaks documentation, we have seen the US Leader, Hilary Clinton, spying on other leaders and perhaps collecting materials that would make it easier for the US to blackmail or threaten world leaders. The US has been saying now for 10 years that their main concern is making our country safer from -terrorists, by committing violence around the world. It has been nothing more than a violent gang using ridiculous excuses to control people through intimidation and cruelty. Of course in this day and age and with many proofs including WikiLeaks we can see that the idea of depending on the governments secret evidence is as unbelievable as many of their other lies, which have included abuses not seen since the Nazi used people to experiment on.

Gangs say they are working to protect their group members, but all th while they are creating worse situations of violence, fear and cult servitude to the leaders. I loved what a British girl said in an interview the other night when she said the UK gov. should worry about securing the rights of the people within the law and the people will take care of their personal lives, which includes their happiness and much of their own safety. It is one thing for citizens to have to worry about gang safety and another to worry about the gov. not securing individuals rights and having to worry about being protected from a government that is suppose to be restrained by laws and thus individuals of the lowest popularity become equal in rights to the “kings” or leaders of the modern governments.

The US citizens should be much more worried about their safety from the government than from anyone or organization outside their own government. The amount and seriousness of the lies and secrecy that have been perpetrated against the US citizens and people around the world is growing near to the atrocities that built up to WWII, with targeting of activists, the vulnerable low income, minority races and religions, and those opposed to the loss of rights working to reveal the lies of the government to the public like n and Assange with WikiLeaks.

The countries around the world, supposedly named as allies, such as the UK and Canada have seen their innocent people incarcerated for years, while the US uses drugs and experiments how much psycho and physical torture they can take.
