There are plenty more places near St. Paul’s, including chains like Pizza Hut, Subway, Potbelly’s, Starbucks, etc.

WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW/LINKS:
Chicago is cold in November, and there could be snow, rain or sleet. You”ve been warned.

Chicago has public transportation, but it’s not as good as New York, so allow plenty of transit time. All meeting venues are near either the O”Hare Blue Line or the Red Line on the north side of the city, but there are also plenty of buses. Talk to your host about how he or she will travel.

The CTA (888-YOURCTA) has detailed maps of Chicago’s public transportation here:
http://www.transitchicago.com/maps/systemmaps.html

If you choose to stay in a hotel or hostel, try to stay downtown so you can get to either meeting venue easily. Coming from the suburbs into the city is very time consuming if you”re not driving. Don’t expect to pay less than $100 a night for a hotel. Hostels should run around $30 a night. See:
