A few brave people in Wasaga Beach, Ontario, Canada, stood in support for the Oct. 5th movement. After a couple of phone calls we were out with signs standing infront of our town’s community centre. There were many who honked in support, and only a few who gave us the finger. Those who flipped the bird got a peace sign in return.
There are many factors America and the Bush administration has on
Canada. For example, air pollution costs Ontario $9.6 billion per year
in health and environmental damages, and 55% of the costs are a result
from the pollution crossing the boarder.
For the next movement, we are planning a larger scale protest at a local high school.
Peace & harmony.
