In a ominous sign of impending war, US military covert operations are underway in Iran. What was exposed in Seymour Hersh’s 4/17 New Yorker article has been recently confirmed by a former Iranian ambassador to the Asia Times. US covert operations have been collecting data (to be used in a future attack), making contacts with and paying off opposition groups, and possibly sabotage operations (all similar to what was done in Afghanistan). The Bush administration has opted to use military instead of CIA covert teams so it doesn’t have to report on their activity to Congress. Furthermore, Iranian news reports claim that a US spy plane was shot down inside their country on April 9.
Despite widespread public opinion opposed to unjust war on the planet, the Bush regime is pushing ahead in secret with its destructive plot. Fortunately, news reports have shed some light on what’s being planned behind closed doors, including the possible use of nuclear weapons. The question is, now that you know about the grave danger facing Iran and the world, what will you do to stop it?
