Today’s Reasons to drive out Bush:
Just take a look at recent news headlines:
83,000
foreigners have been detained by the US since the war on terrorism
began. And we have a good ideas what these detainees have been
subjected to in military and CIA detention centers from the pictures of
Abu Graihb and Guantanamo Bay.
Congress (yes the Democrats as
well as the Republicans) recently reached a compromise agreement on the
renewel of the Patriot Act, which makes much of the law’s fascist
measures permenent.
Cheney recently lashed out at Democratic Senators and others who have accused Bush of going to war on distorted intelligence as “one
of the most dishonest and reprehensible charges ever aired in this
city.” Newsflash Cheney: there were no weapons of mass destruction in
Iraq, the Bush regime knew it, and lied about it before the whole
world. And moreover, what does it say about the danger of the Bush
regime when anyone who makes mild criticisms of the war (that are actually in line with
reality, by the way) are essentially threatened as traitors?
