The Redlands, CA protest went very well. We had a late start organizing for the event but with the help of Citizens Action For Peace we got about fifty people out on the corner of Orange St. and Redlands Blvd.
Thursday nights in Redlands are “Market Night” so some of the
streets were closed off and there was a large amount of pedestrian
traffic, especially young people. We recieved much positive response
from passing cars and people walking to Market Night. Several drivers
parked their cars and joined us and many others passing us returned
from market night to support us as well.
We had the members of No Reform, a punk band from Moreno Valley, join us along with many friends that they brought with them.
The ages of participants ranged from pre-teen to 70’s.
